Baccarat is the most popular live table with Malaysian players, and one of the easiest to learn — you only choose which hand you think will win.
How a round works
- Bet on Player, Banker or Tie before the timer ends.
- The dealer deals two cards to each hand; a third card may be drawn by fixed rules.
- The hand closest to 9 wins.
Card values
Ace counts as 1, 2–9 at face value, and 10, J, Q, K as 0. Only the last digit counts, so 7 + 8 = 15 counts as 5.
The three main bets
- Banker — pays even money minus a commission (traditionally 5%); house edge about 1.06%.
- Player — pays even money; house edge about 1.24%.
- Tie — usually pays 8:1, but the house edge is above 14%.
Simple rules for live tables
- Stick mainly to Banker or Player.
- Set a loss limit and a win target before you sit down.
- Use a flat stake instead of raising bets after losses.
- Roadmaps track past results, but each hand is independent.
